Skateboard decks are a necessity in skateboarding.

In this section of the site you will find good free information about the skateboard decks being produced in the skateboard industry. I’ve had many different boards and tried over a hundred at least. Below you will find a few articles on mostly current skateboards.

Everything here is from my own opinion. Please feel free to disagree, as everyone’s skating style can have a different board be best. Never the less, I hope you enjoy my opinions and perhaps you will learn a few things along the way.

If you’re looking into getting your first skateboard then this is a great place to start. Read up before you make your first purchase. It could save you some money and help you get a good board for you. After you have been skateboarding for a while you will learn which boards suit you best. For now though, you will need to try out as many boards as you can. Ask your friends if you can try theirs. Buy a new deck instead of that new xbox game (although xbox can be very fun.)

You will need time to figure it all out. Getting the right deck will take a few tries and you may never find the one that’s totally right for you. And then when you do, you’ll probably break it anyways. So read over these articles, but don’t worry if you’re trying to pick out a new deck. You wont have it forever. There will be more trust me.
