Get a little information about me and why I made this site!A little about me. My name is Dean Pugliese. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. I never had much in common with a lot of the people in my life. I was fairly shy and kept to myself through elementary school. This all changed when I got to middle school. Some of my friends were into skateboarding then. I had always wanted to learn how to skateboard. So I followed some of the older kids around until I learned how to do some stuff on my own. Skateboarding changed my life completely. I am now more confident in everything I do. I finished high school with fairly good grades and I am now attending Albright College. I continue to strive for exceptional grades there, but I still keep time open for skateboarding of course. I decided to start this website after trying to help some kids learn to skateboard. I really liked teaching them and helping them. Some of them thought it was a cool idea if I would be able to teach kids all around the world. I’ve always been pretty average when it came to computers so I didn’t know how to actually produce a good website. I took a few classes, but it was still too much to understand and I don’t have a lot of extra time in my schedule. I put the idea on the back burner. I just didn’t see a way to make it happen. Then I found SiteBuildIt! It’s a great program, which allowed me to be on the 20 percent side of the 20/80 work schedule. SBI does most of the work for me! I just create the content. It’s really a perfect fit for me. I could have never had such a great website, especially one I'm proud enough to have an about me on without it. So, if this sounds like something you’d be interested in, I suggest you check it out. It’s better than I could have ever imagined. Outside of skateboarding, school, and my website I do have a few other interesting aspects to my life. I have a wonderful girlfriend named Melissa. I enjoy playing guitar. I mostly like acoustic blues and Johnny Cash. I have a part time job which is full-time most of the time actually ha ha. I lead a pretty crazy life. I’m always busy, but in the down time I like to read personal development books and play xbox 360. Lately I’ve been learning a lot about the xbox 360 and have been fixing them too. So, that's a little about me, I’m pretty busy, but I promise to keep working on this site until I think it has everything I know about skateboarding in it.
